Catcliffe Methodist Church
Catcliffe Methodist Church is a small village chapel that has been serving the Catcliffe community for 100 years. It is 'the village chapel' and enjoys the support of many friends and groups in the community. The weekly Sunday service is at 6.00pm and is generally traditional in nature. There is a midweek fellowship on Tuesday evenings at 7.00pm. Coffee mornings are every Saturday morning.

Central Methodist Church, Aston-cum-Aughton
Central Methodist Church is a lively and welcoming Christian fellowship at the heart of the Aston-cum-Aughton community. It has a number of programmes running each week which include Ladies Fellowship, Rainbows, Prayer Meetings, Brownies, House groups, Friends and Neighbours, Sunshine Corner Play Group, Kings Club and Youth Club to mention a few. All are welcome and all will easily find a home in this fellowship.

Treeton Methodist Church
Treeton Methodist Church is a small Methodist Church in the growing community of Treeton. It welcomes any who come to worship on a Sunday morning at 10.30am or to the Sequence Dancing group on a Wednesday evening. They work with the Treeton Baptist Church and St. Helens Church of England Parish Church for the sake of the Treeton community.

Whiston Methodist Church
Whiston is a picturesque nineteenth century chapel, complete with clock tower and stained glass, right at the heart of this beautiful old village. The church family of about 40 members and other friends is warm and welcoming. The chapel is very much a part of village life, hosting the yearly village pantomime, and offering a weekly coffee pop-in each Thursday morning. Worship focuses on family and young people on Sunday morning at 10.30am, with a thriving junior church, while there is a more traditional evening service each week at 6.00pm, seeking to allow everyone to worship the Lord with joy.

United Methodist Church, Clifton
The church was refurbished in 2000 and is the amalgamation of Gerard Road and Clifton Methodist Churches. It has strong links with the community and offers a variety of activities for all ages, some of a social nature, others with a spiritual dimension to enable the exploration of faith. The church supports work among the homeless and at Easter House, an orphanage in Romania.

Eastwood Mission
Eastwood Mission offers traditional worship on a Sunday and a variety of activities during the week. The church amalgamated with Bethesda Methodist Church in 2001. It has a good suite of premises, which are widely used by both church and community. Over the last 4 years the church has been working with Asylum Seekers and Refugees through a weekly drop in facility in the church hall. Three other congregations now meet in the building, an Iranian congregation, a French speaking African congregation and an African Pentecostal Group.

Bank Street Methodist Church, Mexborough
Bank Street Methodist Church is a small, but caring fellowship on the edge of Mexborough town centre. A traditional service is offered on Sunday mornings. Parents and Tots groups meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. On Thursday evenings there is a very lively Girls Brigade group. A prayer meeting and Bible study alternate every other Thursday evening. Saturday mornings include a coffee morning enjoyed by members of the church and the community.

Trinity Methodist Church, Wath
Trinity serves the Wath-upon-Dearne community and gathers on Sunday morning for worship. A growing Holy Communion service is offered on the 4th Wednesday of each month. Every Wednesday the community enjoys gathering in Trinity Hall for the Coffee Morning. The Sisterhood is a wonderful fellowship of women who join together on Thursday afternoon.

Brunswick Methodist Church, Roman Terrace
Brunswick Methodist Church, in Roman Terrace is a very lively, loving and welcoming small church in Mexborough. It has two services each week, at 10.30am and 6.30pm. It has a strong youth group and a heart for outreach. There are two Bible studies, one for the young people and the other for the older members of the church. It is engaged in prayer walks once a quarter and open air services. It hosts a number of weddings and baptisms, through which it is creating strong links with the community.

Furlong Road Methodist Church
Furlong Road Chapel is in Bolton-on- Dearne. It has about 50 members. The worship is lively, loving and welcoming. It is a church of the community. It hosts a lot of weddings, funerals and baptisms each year. The Chapel is very much part of village life. Weekday activities include uniformed organisations such as Brownies, Girls Brigade, Knit and Natter group, Dancing, Ladies Group, Bible Study and a joint Prayer Group with other churches. It has a very strong J.M.A (Junior Mission for All) group who participate every Sunday during worship through collecting money for J.M.A and taking church offerings.

Piccadilly Methodist Church, Swinton
Piccadilly is a loving small congregation situated in Swinton. It has lively worship services in the morning and evening on Sundays. It is engaged in outreach which includes prayer walks once a month. There are two prayer meetings, one held on Sunday and the other on Tuesday afternoon. Bible study has started and is held on the third Friday of the month. Saturday Life is a lively monthly gathering when other churches in the area join in. Piccadilly works very well with other churches in Swinton and Kilnhurst.

St. John's Methodist Church, Swinton
St John's is a lively church situated in Swinton. The morning worship starts at 10.30am, led by the local worship group. Junior church are present at the beginning of the service, then they normally leave after the children's talk. There is a family service once a month when everyone stays together. There is also an evening service at 6.30pm each week, a midweek prayer meeting and a Bible study which meets once a month. The premises are constantly used by community groups, including Parents and Toddlers and Open House on Wednesdays. It has a well equipped Bookshop. The church works well with other Methodist churches and other churches in the area.

Broom Methodist Church
Broom is a lively Church with strong lay leadership. The morning service, (including Junior Church) on Sunday is at 10am. Once a month on Monday evening there is an event for adults and children together with food and worship called Monday People. There is a midweek prayer meeting and a Bible Study group, together with other opportunities for study and fellowship. The recently refurbished premises are increasingly used by community groups, including a nursery, parents and toddlers and uniformed organisations. The Church is involved with three other local Churches serving this part of Rotherham. Broom also works with local schools including Sitwell Junior School.

Talbot Lane Methodist Church
Talbot Lane is a busy town centre Church which includes the Talbot Lane Centre offering office and meeting space to voluntary and community groups. The Sunday service is at 11.15am. Thursday prayers and lunch are at 12.30pm. Once a month on a Monday teatime, there is an event for adults and children together which includes food and worship. There are other weekday meetings for both women and men, together with opportunities for study. There is a close working relationship with Rotherham Minster, as part of the Spires Project. There is a developing interdenominational prayer meeting on Saturdays.

Rawmarsh is a lively church of over 80 members with a wide variety of ages, activities and worship styles. Ryecroft Methodist Church
Ryecroft is a church of nearly 40 members, and is a community strongly committed to the principles of Biblical preaching and practical application of what we have discovered about Jesus Christ. Sunday worship is at 10.30am every week, and 6.00pm Communion on the first Sunday of the month.
